Where is the love?

This is a wonderful song of the band Black Eyed Peas. Though I am not a fan of this group, I think that the lyrics of this particular song are amazing. That is, it is a protest against all social problems that interpose into our daily lives and don't let us be free beings and love each other. As the lyrics are so interesting to think and reflect, I decided to pick this song to make the project for the practicum at school, since I think that it is good to make students that are about 17 and 18 years old think about all these things and develop a critical opinion.
I wonder if one day the world is gonna change, if one day violence and discrimination will be over. I think that what I’m asking is too much, isn’t it?

  1. It's dream Vane. But little by little things WILL change; I'm sure of that. And as we instill in our students love and respect for diversity.

  3. I don't whether the present state of affair will ever be a thing of the past but do believe that education is the best way to make this world a better place...so we should take advantage of the power we have to improve this world!

  4. I think that this type of dreams help us human beings to keep the balance and go on in this life that we tend to consider so hard.

  5. Well, I'm not that optimistic either, but as you said, we can do little things to make students reflect on certain aspects of life that are disregarded in this society. We have the opportunity to at least try to change things for the better, so we should take it!
