Let's Celebrate Life!

Again, this time I decided to share with you a musical video. This song belongs to Axel Fernando who is, at least for me, one of the most talented musicians in Argentina. The name of the song, as you may surely know, is "Celebra la vida".
Yesterday, when I was listening to this well known song, I started to think about its lyrics. I thought how is possible to celebrate life everyday? That is quite hard, I mean life is not easy and we have little time for pleasures, most of the time we have to study or work. But then, I got to the conclusion that in fact it is possible. That is, to celebrate every moment of our life does not necessarily mean having pleasures such as being with friends or going to parties, it means enjoying every single thing we do in our daily lives.
All in all, I think we should all stop complaining about our responsabilities and start paying more attention to the bright side of life. In that way, we can take advantage of everything we have and enjoy fully our lives.
Now,I want to ask you a question, Do you think that we spend too much time complaining instead of celebrating life?

  1. definitely! we enjoy complaining, it is part of our life, and we do not realize that many times we complain about silly things when there are many other much worse reasons to do it for other people. We do not appreciate how lucky we are many times.

  2. Complaining is part of our everyday life routine, mainly at the institute =) and I don’t mean that this is ok but… I have a new complain at the tip of my tongue!!

  3. I agree with you. But sometimes it's very difficult and Mr. Brightside is devoured by Mr. Pessimistic. The tiredness takes hold of our bodies, words other people utter may anger us. But, OK, I try not to stop smiling and to thank life my family and I are fine.

  4. Complaining is necessary! It can even be cathartic! I guess the most undesirable type of complaint is the one that paralyzes your will, the one that numbs you towards lethargy.

  5. It seems that complaining is more common in our generation than in our grandparents' or parents' generation! I never listen to my parents or grandparents complaining about their responsabilities they just deal with them and go on! We should observe our elders more and learn from them!
